Author Biography

Jacob Stephens

Jacob Robert Stephens grew up in the woods of northwestern Montana, working as a fisherman, logger, firefighter, and now as a forest patrol. He has degrees in English and English Secondary Education from the University of Montana, and an MFA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He has served as poetry editor for Permafrost. Jacob plays & performs guitar and mandolin. His most recent writing is forthcoming in The Louisville Review and The Portland Review.
