Cynthia Hardy

This poem has also since been published in the author's collection of poetry, Beneath a Portrait of a Horse, from Salmon Poetry, Ireland, published May 2010.

Cynthia Hardy lives, writes, teaches, gardens, and tends horses in Fairbanks, Alaska. She teaches English and Developmental English at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Her new chapbook, We Tempt Our Luck, was published in 2009 by Astounding Beauty Ruffian Press.
